Alternative Treatment Options...What Are Your Rights?

It may be difficult to believe but when it comes to alternative treatment options there are many different routes to take and yet in the United States the government is so sure of the differences between right and wrong that they feel they have the right to choose your health treatment options according to their rules. Did you know for instance that if you choose not to allow your child to undergo the horror or painful radiation and chemotherapy treatments that they can lock you up and make the child undergo them?

Freedom, as wonderful as it is, in health care, however in America you may not really enjoy the freedom to choose, if it is contrary to the powers that be. In the end death is death and modern medicine can do very little to help those individuals who have cancer.

At the end of the day, unless you can pay for your own treatment for cancer or seek alternative ways to treat your cancer you will have to resign your self to the dictates of the insurance companies and the governments rules and regulations. If minor children are in need of treatments and you really don't want to subject them to the toxic concoction of drugs and radiation, your hands are really tied to seek alternative treatments or the child could die before any agreements to help are reached. Trying to regain your rights to dispute the insurance or government decisions and at least have your concerns heard are very important and can be a long hard fight. With no real guarantees, many people try to make the best decision they can be comfortable with.
