Health care reform seems like the obvious choice to reform the world, not to mention the current presidency.; It seems easy to just simply say that everyone on the planet should have health insurance, but when you get to the businesses that handle these things, you start to realize the arcane and impossible things that go into trying to insure an entire country, let alone an entire planet. People who don't have health insurance are sometimes considered lazy people who are trying to take advantage of government feedbacks, but that often is not the case.
Who are the uninsured? Well, they are people just like you; those who have lost their jobs and those who are scraping to get by and have to make a decision on whether to get food for their families or medical care. Starvation kills people more quickly. Lack of health care just wears on individuals over time. It is a slow and silent killer so on some levels it seems more harmless to live without health insurance .
So many people take insurance for granted since they feel they will never get sick or anyone in their family. It's that extra expense that comes out of their paycheck or an expense that doesn't need to be worried about because they are you, in college, or just bursting out into the world ready to take on anything except for medial expenses.
Sure they may seem to be invisible but that is simply because they don't walk around with t-shirts on that say they are uninsured. They don't wear their suffering on the outside and usually don't talk about it with others. They are embarrassed at their current situation and their inability to repair it. They are just like you only they don't have health insurance coverage. People who are uninsured are all around you and they come from all different ethnic backgrounds, religious denominations, age groups, and genders. There is no one grouping for all these individuals except for the fact that they lack health insurance benefits. Having access to health insurance for all is the responsibility of us all.
And while many are resistant to the many proposed changes to the health care laws that are being put forth by the federal government the bottom line is that these changes will do one thing for certain and that is they will help all individuals have the ability to attain health insurance coverage regardless of their situation. It is for this reason that every American should stand behind the powers that be and the laws that are being enacted.
People should have
catastrophic health insurance to stay safe. Everyone needs
affordable health insurance of some type for their family.
