Many times that item is stopping excessive bleeding by plugging it up or it may be that pulling it out will damage additional tissues, organs, and vessels. Then it is important to get the person and the finger to the hospital as quickly as possible to create the greatest chance for successful reattachment. Having a first aid kids handy with some essential supplies can make your life a little easier. Even if you just make a shoe box filled with some key items like bandages, ice packs, and water can really help when an emergency arises. It is a simple way to stay prepared and will make things so much easier just in case. Being prepared is better in pretty much any situation.
