There really is no end to the debate on what is more likely the cause of obesity. There are many theories and not many actual answers it seems. There are many different factors that are to blame for obesity. It is hard to determine what the biggest cause is because so many different things are partially to blame. No matter which side that you agree with it does seem that both have merit.

Obviously what you eat does factor into not only your weight but also your overall health. When you look at many of the foods that are on the market it is easy to realize that many of them are nearly toxic to the human body. Of course, fresh fruits and vegetables as well as whole grains can really work to balance a person's diet and improve their weight and health but these are not the only factors. As each individual body is different so has to be each person's diet. Some people need less meat and some need more, some need less carbs and some need more. The balance is one that you need to find for yourself because there is no exact science to finding the right diet.

It is not just important what you eat but is also crucial how you eat. The foods that you eat growing up and how they are eaten is a large part of how your environment factors into your weight. If your family is overweight as a rule and you grow up with poor eating habits that you learn from them, that is not certainly heredity. It can be simply because of the environment.

Just think of a family with four kids. They share the same DNA. Sometimes two of these kids will have problems with obesity and the other two will not. They are all eating the same and are equally active as well. When the same factors all together turn out people that are all so different it makes you wonder what else there is to determining what else causes obesity.

It seems that perhaps one very simple thing is being overlooked and that is the fact that each body needs certain foods to make it healthy and that those are not the same for each and every person. Perhaps it is nothing more than the uniqueness in the human structure that makes some people obese and others of normal weight. As we watch some individuals will eat anything they want and not gain a pound while others monitor what they eat every day and still struggle with their weight. Ultimately the problem of obesity can not be attributed to merely one aspect of life but to a combination of all the factors of an individual's existence.

Self employed health insurance is around and will assist when treating obesity and other issues. Some simple Health insurance quotes will get the best prices.
