Almost every place you go, whether it is a fast food restaurant or a small business or a large company with factories and offices in multiple cities or states, they will have some sort of way to contact them. They want the customer to tell them what they like or dislike, customer comments are important so that they can understand what they are doing well and what they are not doing well.

Many new and worthy ideas come from people doing the work, not always, but all have at least one good idea in them and it is important to find a way to channel creative energy into something productive.

If an employee does not feel comfortable, or is afraid to let his supervisor know that something is not working properly, that there is a waste of time and money in a particular process, then what good is it that the employee pays attention? What rewards do employees receive if they come forward with a great idea? Is there a tradition, an unwritten policy, that the ideas of ordinary workers are never really considered, and are shot down without any real thought?

How many times has someone stick their neck out, take a risk when they know that there is no reason to do so, if there is no reward for risk that the are taking? Ideas can come from anywhere and at any time and if there are ideas that are cut off because of people who express them, then you are leaving a lot of closed doors.
