Many things are elusive to the human mind, though they are usually quite obvious. If you think about it, logo and brand recognition works much the same way for companies because if they show you their product, logo, or label enough, then you will be more apt to pick up their brand or call their place of business out of all the yellow pages ads. It seems amazing that your mind is doing things that go above and beyond your control but it actually has a mind of its own.

Advertisers are professionals in the realm of subconscious messages, and while people believe that they are not so easily swayed, they in fact are. The mind is constantly shown messages and even if you are unaware of it if there are far more than meets the eye, yet it is all taken in.
