The faces of the technological innovations have proved to be very beneficial to Six Sigma teams that were once restricted by locations to be effective. These teams don't have to be within the same organization, state or country to be successful and very effective. Still, the teams are held together and directed by upper management that have the unique responsibility of keeping the group dynamics intact as well as formulating the team successes.

Six Sigma teams will show their appreciation for these resources in the form of a specific designed program that spells the successful returns on investments by the company along with regular reports and status updates for company upper management designed to make following the progress of the project easy to access.

It is a major task to keep Six Sigma Teams on the same page when nothing is going wrong and even more predictable if there is no upper management support for the team efforts. The critical ness of support for the success of any six sigma project is even more important when you consider how scattered around the globe the many teams are. Support is a necessary factor for success of the team to successful complete the project, while spotting and eliminating potential roadblocks that could hinder the progress and success of the project. Without it, failure will quickly replace success.


A good top level management professional, will not only get creative solutions but will also successfully motivate each team to success. This top level efforts will span the globe and work when the teams are literally worlds apart by creating a dynamic environment that will draw each group into the realm of "all in the same place" mentality. It is better to let the master black belts manage the team, however it is more important that the company support and project concerns are real so that each team and member will feel they are making a positive change that everyone will benefit from and learn from, resulting in motivation to see every project they are a part of to be a success every time, all the time.
